Agency matters

In Istanbul habe ich für zwei Monate mit der Modelagentur Artroom zusammengearbeitet. Ich würde sagen... zum einen meine Erfahrungen mit Agenturen und zum anderen mein Alter und meine Fachlichkeit halfen mir, eine angenehme und teilweise vorteilhafte Zeit zu geniessen.

Mit vielen Agenturen ist es das Selbe, und als Model ist es relativ schwierig, wirklich Geld zu verdienen. Die Provision, welche die Agenturen vom Gehalt abziehen, sowie Unterkunft, Flug und Taschengeld, dass man zurückzahlen muss, damit geht es eine Weile, bis man in die eigene Tasche verdient. Generell ist es für Männer schwieriger, da es weniger Aufträge gibt. Wenn man ganz gut arbeiten kann, wird man nicht als reicher Mann aus dem Land reisen. Zum einen Faktor Zeit des Aufenthaltes, zum anderen ist mein Typ gerade gefragt. Wenn man jedoch einige sehr gut bezahlte Jobs bekommt (welche es nur selten gibt und wie ein Jackpot angesehen werden können) kann man durchaus auch ein wenig mehr Geld verdienen (natürlich verdient die Agentur auch ihren Anteil) ;-)

Als Fazit spielt es keine Rolle, in welchem Land, sondern zum richtigen Zeitpunkt am richtigen Ort zu sein.

Ich möchte mich bei meiner Agentur in Istanbul "Artroom" bedanken. Ich hatte eine gute Zusammenarbeit mit euch und freue mich weiterhin mit euch zu arbeiten.

In Istanbul I have worked together for two months with the model agency Artroom. I would say... on one hand my experience with agencies and on the other hand my age and my professionalism helped me to enjoy a pleasant and mostly profitable time.

With many agencies it's the same and as a model it's relatively hard to earn money. The commission, which the agencies withdraw from the earnings as well as the accommodation, flight and pocket money that one has to pay back, it takes a while, until one has something to put into one own pocket. In general it is harder for men since there are fewer jobs. When one can work entirely well one won't travel out of the country a rich man. The one factor is the time of the stay and the other is that my type is in demand at the moment. When one however gets some very well paid jobs (which are very seldom and could be considered a jackpot) one can also definitely earn some more money (of course the agency also earns its share) ;-)

As conclusion it doesn't matter in which country, much more to be in the right place at the right time. I want to thank the agency "Artroom" in Istanbul. I had a good collaboration with you and I'm looking forward to keep working furthermore with you.

En Estambul he trabajado por dos meses con la agencia de modelos Artroom. Yo diría... por un lado mi experiencia con agencias por otro lado mi edad y mi profesionalidad me ayudaron a disfrutar un tiempo agradable y provechoso.

Con muchas agencias es lo mismo, como modelo es relativamente difícil verdaderamente ganar dinero. La provisión la cual las agencias descuentan del sueldo, también el alojamiento, vuelo y el dinero para gastos personales que uno tiene que rembolsarle a la agencia, de esa manera dura un tiempo hasta que uno, gane algo en su propio bolsillo. Generalmente es más complicado para hombres, porque hay menos trabajos. Cuando uno puede trabajar bastante bien uno no saldrá del país hecho un hombre rico. Un factor es el tiempo de la estancia y por otra parte mi tipo justamente está en demanda. Cuando uno consigue algunos trabajos bien pagados (de los cuales no hay muchos y los que son considerados como una lotería) pudiera uno definitivamente ganar un poco más de dinero (por supuesto la agencia también gana su parte) ;-)

Como conclusión no importa en que país sino estar en el momento correcto en el lugar adecuado.
